Charter School Website

Thrive Center for Success is a charter school in Magnolia serving children with autism. Their website needed to do more than introduce the school to prospective families—it also needed to function as an organized, accessible resource for the extensive documentation, forms, policies, and information a charter school is required to make available online.

We approached the project with both their immediate needs and long-term growth in mind. The website was designed to make a large amount of information easier to navigate without overwhelming families or visitors. We created a structure that gives important school information and documentation a clear place to live while allowing new resources to be added as the school continues to grow.

Ease of maintenance was particularly important for this project. Schools frequently need to publish new documents, replace existing files, update policies, and share time-sensitive information. Rather than creating a website that would become difficult to manage as more content was added, we built a flexible framework that can be continually expanded and reorganized as needed.

Thrive Center for Success also chose to continue working with Trulove Webworks through a monthly website care plan. This ongoing relationship means their team doesn’t have to worry about making website changes themselves or tracking down a developer every time something needs to be updated. They can simply send us new documents, information, or requested changes, and we typically have updates completed within one to two business days.

That quick turnaround is especially valuable for an organization where information can change throughout the school year and families need access to accurate, current resources. Instead of the website becoming another administrative responsibility for school staff, we’re able to serve as an extension of their team and keep the site updated for them.

The website was also developed with growth in mind. As Thrive expands its programs, resources, and school community, the site has the flexibility to grow alongside it without requiring a complete redesign. New pages, documents, announcements, and resources can be incorporated into the existing structure while maintaining an organized experience for visitors.

This project is a great example of how website strategy can go beyond aesthetics. For Thrive Center for Success, creating a successful website meant understanding how the organization actually uses it day to day. The result is a professional online presence for the school, an accessible resource for families and the community, and a practical system for managing a continually changing library of information.
