About The Project:
Tiny People University is one of the projects that is especially close to my heart. My relationship with the owner began long before we started working together professionally. I knew her when she was still caring for children out of her home, and Tiny People University has cared for my youngest daughter since she was just eight weeks old. In many ways, our businesses have grown alongside each other.
When Tiny People University was ready to take the next step and open a childcare center in Magnolia, Texas, the owner reached out to me to help build the brand and marketing presence for this new chapter of her business. Trulove Webworks became a partner for her marketing needs, from developing the brand and website to helping establish and maintain the center’s social media presence.
For a childcare center, trust is everything. Parents aren’t simply researching a service—they are deciding who they will trust with their children. We wanted the Tiny People University brand and website to capture the warmth and personality of the center while also giving parents the information and reassurance they need when considering childcare.
The website needed to make it easy for prospective families to learn about the center, understand its programs and philosophy, and get a feel for the environment before ever walking through the doors. The visual identity and messaging were developed to feel welcoming and approachable while still presenting Tiny People University as the professional, established childcare provider it had grown to become.
Our work together didn’t end when the first website launched. Over the past six years, we have continued to work closely together as Tiny People University has grown and its marketing needs have changed. During that time, I have built two websites for the center, allowing its online presence to evolve alongside the business rather than remain frozen at the stage it was in years earlier.
We have also supported Tiny People University through ongoing social media and digital marketing, helping the center communicate with current families while continuing to reach new ones. Having a long-term relationship means we understand the personality of the business, its audience, and the owner’s vision, which makes it much easier to keep the marketing consistent as new needs arise.
This project represents much of what I value about working with local small businesses. I have had the opportunity to watch an entrepreneur grow from providing childcare in her home to operating an established center in Magnolia, while at the same time she has watched and supported me as I built Trulove Webworks.
There is also a personal layer to this partnership that makes it particularly meaningful. Tiny People University provided a safe and caring place for my own daughter while I was building my business, and in return, I have had the privilege of using my skills to support the growth of theirs.
Six years, two websites, a complete brand, ongoing social media, and countless updates later, our relationship continues. Tiny People University is more than a portfolio project for Trulove Webworks. It is an example of the kind of long-term partnership we love to build—one where we get to know the people behind the business, grow alongside them, and continue adapting their marketing as their original vision becomes something bigger.
