About The Project:

Yuletide RV Park was one of those website projects that gave us the opportunity to have a little more fun with the design. Located in Madisonville, Texas, Yuletide isn’t a typical RV park. The property combines RV sites and cabin rentals with restaurants, a giant Christmas store, and a campus filled with lights and Christmas-inspired details all year long.

With such a unique concept, the challenge wasn’t simply explaining what Yuletide offered. We needed to capture the experience of being there and make sure the messaging helped potential guests understand that this was a destination—not just a place to park an RV for the night.

We worked to create a website that embraced the personality of the property without allowing the Christmas theme to overpower the information visitors actually needed. The design needed to feel festive, memorable, and inviting while still making it easy for guests to explore accommodations, understand the amenities, discover everything available on the property, and ultimately plan a stay.

Getting the messaging right was a particularly important part of this project. Yuletide appeals to several different types of visitors. Some guests may be traveling through the area and looking for an RV site, while others are searching for a weekend getaway or a cabin experience. Families may be drawn to the year-round Christmas atmosphere, while other visitors may initially discover the property through its restaurants, shopping, or special experiences.

The website needed to bring all of those pieces together into one cohesive story.

We organized the site to showcase the RV sites and cabins while also giving visitors a better understanding of everything else they can experience during their stay. The restaurants, Christmas store, lights, and themed atmosphere aren’t simply extras—they are part of what differentiates Yuletide from a traditional RV park and gives people a reason to choose it over another place to stay.

Visual storytelling also played an important role. A property this distinctive needs to be seen to be understood, so the website gives the atmosphere and amenities room to shine. The goal is for visitors to begin imagining their stay before they ever arrive in Madisonville.

At the same time, we kept the customer journey in mind throughout the design. Once someone becomes interested in the experience, they need a clear path toward learning about accommodations and making the decision to visit. The personality of the site draws people in, while the organization and messaging help move them toward booking.

Yuletide RV Park is a great example of why we don’t believe in designing every website from the same formula. Sometimes the biggest marketing opportunity a business has is simply that there is nothing else quite like it.

For Yuletide, our job was to understand what makes the property special and translate that experience to the screen. The result is a website that feels distinctly Yuletide—fun, welcoming, a little unexpected, and unmistakably Christmas all year long—while still functioning as a practical marketing tool designed to turn curious visitors into future guests.
