Lactation Consultant Website

About The Project:
Our relationship with Milk & Mom Lactation Services is one of our favorite examples of what can happen when a website grows alongside a business.
When I first began working with Kellye, Milk & Mom was a much smaller operation. She was seeing a handful of clients and primarily traveling to families’ homes to provide lactation support. She needed a professional online presence that would help local moms find her, understand the services she offered, and feel comfortable reaching out during what can be a very personal and sometimes overwhelming stage of motherhood.
We created a website that reflected Kellye’s approachable, supportive style while making it easy for families to learn about Milk & Mom’s services and take the next step. For a business built around such personal care, the website needed to establish trust before a potential client ever made contact. The design, messaging, and organization all worked together to create an experience that felt professional without feeling clinical or impersonal.
Over the years, Milk & Mom has grown significantly—and the website has grown right along with it.
What began as a business providing primarily in-home services has developed into a thriving practice with its own office, an expanded team, and a consistently full client schedule. As Kellye has added services, team members, and new resources for families, we have continued updating the website to accurately represent the business she has built.
We have even completed a more recent website refresh, allowing the visual presence and functionality of the site to evolve as Milk & Mom entered a new stage of growth. Rather than waiting until the original website felt completely outdated, we were able to build on what was already working and update the site to better reflect where the practice is today.
Our ongoing relationship includes regular website updates as well as hosting, security, technical maintenance, and SEO maintenance. This allows Kellye and her team to stay focused on their clients while we take responsibility for keeping the website healthy, current, and working behind the scenes.
That long-term relationship has also given us a deeper understanding of the Milk & Mom brand. When something changes within the practice, Kellye doesn’t have to start from scratch explaining her business to a new web company. We already understand her services, her audience, and the voice of the brand, which allows us to make updates efficiently and keep everything consistent.
Kellye has also been an incredible supporter of Trulove Webworks over the years and has referred numerous other business owners to us. Those referrals mean a great deal because they are built on years of trust and firsthand experience working together.
Milk & Mom has transformed from a small, primarily mobile lactation service into a busy practice with an office, a growing team, and a schedule that stays consistently booked. Having the opportunity to watch and support that evolution has been incredibly rewarding.
This project represents exactly the kind of client relationship we value most. A website launch wasn’t the finish line—it was the beginning of a long-term partnership. Years later, we are still working together, adapting the website as the business changes and making sure Milk & Mom’s online presence continues to reflect the successful practice Kellye has built.
